This unit is used on vehicles which have a switching pair of rear lights when the rear/boot door is opened, (Eg: Vauxhall Insignea Sports Tourer) and you dont want to fit a second relay.

this unit allows you to take both outputs to one relay by merging the signals without signal contamination.
