There is currently an issue with coding late 2023 onwards Mercedes vehicles as they have been locked by Mercedes and only coded by a main dealer with the Mercedes specific OE coding tool.
Aftermarket coding suppliers are currently working on a resolution for this.
The easiest way to identify the affected vehicles is to check the VIN number.
Late 2023 onwards vehicles no longer have the model number in the VIN and will need to be coded with the Mercedes OE coding tool.
(Eg: 2020 A class [177] can be coded as [177] can be found in the VIN)

You may well be aware that there is currently an issue with coding 2024 VAG vehicles that have the letter *R* as the 10th digit of the VIN number.
The issue is not with the vehicle or the vehicle specific kits but with the coding on the vehicle itself.
VAG have locked the gateway on 2024 vehicles stopping any aftermarket coding tool from being able to access the gateway to update the coding.
That's why all vehicle specific / CANbus based kits for VAG vehicles from 2024 onwards will be switching over to read only systems.
