- Ryder prewired towbar sockets are factory made and subjected to rigorous quality control.
- We use wire which is thick enough to do the job and we will not compromise on this
- We wire standard sockets with 1.6 metres of cable, long enough to fit easily on the vast majority of vehicles
- 2 metre versions for Transits and similar vehicles are a standard option
- Other lengths (e.g. 3 metres for some 4 tracks) are available to order
- Our galvanised plates are virtually rustproof

Unplated - Very Cost Effective
Unplated assemblies, fully wired, with seals, are ideal for continental-style bars and for adding sockets. Available in 1.6 metre and 2 metre lengths as standard and in other lengths to order.
Thin wall cable: A leap forward in quality and efficiency.
The improved material used in modern thin-walled cables allows more heat to escape from the copper conductors. This means that the conductors can cool more easily. As a result, a thin- wall cable of a particular cross-section area can carry significant more current than the same conductor in the old thicker wall cable.
In the case of the 12N cable used on pre-wired sockets, the rated capacity of the cables is increased from 5.75 amps for each of the 7 cores. Once again we are pleased to lead the way in the development of improved products.
