This is a 24 volt bypass relay. It works in a 24 volt environment and supplies 24 volts to the trailer outputs. |

|
24 to 12 volts: use TF2217LOGICTo provide 12 volts to the trailer outputs from a 24 volt vehicle, use standards TF2217LOGIC (12 volt) bypass with a switch mode converter (24-12 volt dropper) to create a 12 volt supply . The solid state circuits that control the relays in the TF2217LOGIC are happy in a 24 volt environment so they can be activated by signals from the 24 volt lighting circuits. The relay coils are supplied by the 12 volt power provided by the dropper, as are all the outputs to the trailer. You feed 12 volts into the power input terminals +12 and +12, connect the signal wires directly to the vehicle's lamp circuits and you get 12-volt outputs at all the terminals A to E |
